These form part of the design development process and is a form of communication between us, the architectural professionals and you, our client. Final presentation drawings are approved by the client before work on Council and Working / Construction drawing can commence.
A design idea is developed into a coherent proposal and submitted to Council for consideration of approval. It can also be an as built drawing of an existing exists.
These drawings show construction methods in larger scale and more detail. Section drawings in large scale are a standard way of showing construction details, typically showing complex junctions (such as floor to wall junction, window openings, eaves and roof apex details) as well as types of finishes which are not normally detailed in Council Drawings. A full set of construction details needs to show plan details as well as vertical section details including dimensions, notes and specifications.
As built drawings is a revised set of drawings created upon completion of a project. They reflect all changes made in the specifications and Working Drawings during the construction process and show the exact dimensions, geometry and locations of all elements of the work completed under the contract.
Also various additions & alterations are sometimes made to existing homes for which planning approval was never obtained. Sometimes existing approved plans are lost or damaged. In these cases the owners are required to have the buildings physically measured up and plans drawn up for council approval.
