This is a modern-style, four-bedroom house, designed for a site with a ± 4˚ slope (1:13) with entrance to the site from the lower end. All living spaces and bedrooms are orientated to best suite sun- and shade conditions throughout the year, taking in consideration energy efficiency design criteria for this specific dwelling. The double garage is situated at the front of the site with a carport to its righthand side. The entrance to the house leads from the modern-design carport into the first level of the house, which comprises an open-plan lounge, dining- and kitchen area, a pantry and a scullery/laundry, which in turn has a back door which leads to the dry yard and garage rear door. The next level of the house comprises the bedrooms and passage which leads to the entertainment area. The main bedroom is very much secluded from the other bedrooms, and has its own en suite bathroom and ample built-in cupboards. Bedrooms two and three have built-in cupboards and share a common bathroom with a bath, shower, hand washbasin and toilet. Bedroom four has its own en-suite bathroom and also has a large build-in cupboard. The rear door lines up with the main entrance door and is connected with an askew passage which runs through both levels of the house and into the entertainment-, open-deck and pool area, which is once again on a higher level than the bedroom’s level.
